prolly a lukewarm take but, despite having some fun with Metroid Prime 4, i think its a bad Metroid game. companions, radio reminders of where to go, dialogue from alien apparitions… the presence of any dialogue, really. these all kill the environmental storytelling, THE thing Metroid is all about!
