Charity Majors, CTO of Honeycomb, in a LinkedIn post: It's a scary time to be a software engineer... *if* you define the job as writing code, limited by human bandwidth. So begins this manifesto on o16g, or "outcome engineering", by my dear friend Cory Ondrejka, which practically had me doing cartwheels while reading it. It has 16 principles, on things like "Human intent", "No more single-player mode", and my favorite, "Failures are artifacts." Go read it. I will be referring to this again and again in the days and weeks to come. It's an exciting time to be a builder. πŸ₯‚
