still nailing down preinfusion using the paddle (sooo much more control than my last machine) but i still can’t believe i’m managing to get thick, creamy espresso… consistently… shot after shot! in ten years, i was never able to manage that on my last machine

A video taken from underneath the grouphead of an espresso machine, portafilter locked into place above a black cappuccino cup. For the first ten seconds, nothing visible happens; then, thick, creamy espresso starts to bead out of the portafilter before dripping increasingly quickly into the cup.
