got sick for the first time since the pandemic hit and i would just like to express renewed appreciation for masking because i used to get sick 1-2 times every year and being sick is the worst. thankfully iโve been testing negative so i feel pretty sure that itโs just a cold ๐ฎโ๐จ

@davidcelis right?? My first cold after pandemic kicked off was a shock - like we used to tolerate this shit?? Itโs terrible!
@davidcelis I used to get sick at least 4 times a year on average. I had a minor head cold (I think) for a few days a year ago, and that was the only one since 2019. I don't get why people are fine with suffering the way I used to (and worse) when a mask stops it
