the thing where you have can have two switches controlling the same light is diabolical. why would you do that shit. i don’t care about saving myself from walking a few extra feet. i want Switch Down to mean Light Off. PERIOD

fwiw my obsession with keeping the switches on my place's switchplates always pointing the same direction (I literally can't have them all down even when all the lights are off because the wiring was done by the house's previous owner all by himself) was a major clue that maybe I'm neurodivergent

@davidcelis I have a hallway with three of these switches, so one must always be up for the lights to be off. maddening.

@davidcelis my house has squishy 60yp momentary switches, which have no on or off state. They signal relays in a big box of spaghetti wiring in the basement, and that controls the circuit associated with the relay. I hate it. But here you are complaining about how good you have it directly connected common switches because of a simple thing like pole orientation.
