i’m glad more people are leaving X/Twitter, but i’m gonna be real: it’s TOO LATE. the political project succeeded. y’all had TWO YEARS to leave Twitter but you waited until Trump got re-elected. better late than never i GUESS???

I think it absolutely did, but only in its absence as a mechanism for consensus and accountability. It was disabled from playing a role
So I guess I’m less salty about participants, I’m not sure anything woulda made the difference
oh i have no idea if it would’ve made a material difference. but im really tired of the extremely late virtue signaling that ONLY NOW is it bad enough to leave
