not sure who needs to hear this, but:
if you like the Good Seed bread from Dave’s Killer Bread (and you should, it’s a dope loaf), don’t buy Power Seed. tastes like cardboard
hey @nytimes, shit like this shouldn’t be behind a paywall. like, this is literally life-or-death info. i get that there are also other sources for the data, but come ON. https://nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/coronavirus-us-cases.html
? Reopen the majority of schools? bruh https://twitter.com/JoeBiden/status/1336456776162529280
i was about to make a pour over but i accidentally left my coffee grinder at the setting i use for my chemex. so now i have to make a whole chemex instead. oh well!
went HARD on breakfast. french-style omelette smothered in dark, earthy mole & sprinkled with cotija, red onion and cilantro. served beside shredded confit turkey leg, tossed in some pounded corn nuts and crisped up in a skillet. oh and one final corn nut dusting cause why not 💁🏽♂️
today, i had to say goodbye to my PiHole server. i thought it was doing good work, protecting me from ads… but in reality it was causing all of my devices to briefly disconnect from wifi every 10-15 minutes. RIP
Looks really well done, but I find it interesting that the DHS/ICE logo isn’t featured prominently in the enterprise sales section! given how unwilling GitHub’s leadership is to drop their ICE contract, i’d expect them to be their favorite customer https://twitter.com/natfriedman/status/1336329202564382723
the reason I enjoy Advent of Code is that the problems are all adorably Christmas themed and story driven. speedrunning this just isnt fun, especially if it means skipping the story. i’d rather take it slow and chuckle to myself over hot cocoa. this leaderboard just makes me sad https://twitter.com/PreslavMihaylov/status/1334002530930601984
Okay, Day 8 of #AdventOfCode was especially fun IMO https://github.com/davidcelis/advent-of-code-2020/blob/main/day-08/main.rb
did i take some leftover confit turkey leg and use it to make nachos with mole negro and queso oaxaca? definitely. other half is butternut squash for my GF
fellow T-Mobile users: generally speaking, how many bars do you need for a usable data connection? for example, even on 5G, my phone is unusable at two bars. pretty much need 3 to do something as simple as use twitter or load a webpage
am i going to use GraphQL to solve today’s Advent of Code problem? probably not. graphql is not good for recursion
with regards to the most recent Mandolorian episode… <SPOILER REMOVED>’s melee weapon is just a broken shower pipe right? like the shower head is literally still attached to that shit
im doing advent of code this year and so far it is very cute and fun. you can follow along with my basic solutions if you want i guess but also don’t look at my shame https://github.com/davidcelis/advent-of-code-2020/
